The Windy City Rev Ups

Big shout out to Kevin McLeod and Martin Mullan of Air Cool Engineering for bringing the Rev Ups to Ireland. The lads were in Chicago for that now famous game of rugby when Ireland beat the All Blacks (sorry Kevin) and saw the Rev Ups play in the “House of the Blues”. Much beer and discussion followed and the Rev Ups agreed to come to Limavady. The band are very excited about their first trip to Ireland and are looking forward to the Guinness and the Craic.

The Windy City Rev Ups perform revved up rock n’ blues!  Best described as high energy R&B mixed with originals, classic blues standards and rock n’ roll anthems.  Performing popular music that is guaranteed to get rock clubs rockin’, blues rooms smokin’ and dance floors hoppin’ – their music captures the characteristic up beat R&B sound of Chicago fused with soulful harmonica, saxophone and hard hitting guitar driven Rock n’ Roll.

The band’s credentials include 1,000’s of live performances, over 15 years of live shows, 9 CD releases, numerous Chicago media song and music awards including “Best Local CD Release”, “Best R&B Band” and “Best Blues Band”. The band is fronted by the sole official member “Windy City Rev” and includes long time band members and professional Chicago area musicians.

The Windy City Rev Ups have performed regularly at Chicago House of Blues for 10 years and in over 150 other Chicago area venues and festivals including the world famous Chicago Blues Festival.

Their music has been featured on the radio in the USA and overseas, during live broadcasts such as Hambone’s Blues Party WDCB, in interviews and on Cable TV.
