A six pack to go please for Danny Boy!
A mere 6 days to Limavady stomps their collective feet to the beat of the Danny Boy Jazz & Blues festival.
And a week today you can experience a Friday evening full of music in multiple great venues in our wonderful town and across a wide range of musical tastes.
It all starts off with the Men in Black (ft; Jim McDermott) at The Alexander Arms from 6pm and with the Katharine Timoney Quartet in the Yard at Frank Owens from 7pm.
From 8pm we have a wide selection to choose from across several venues. There’s Paul Buckley’s Get Rhythm in Banter’s, Portabello at the Rugby Club, Alan McKelvey and his Souldiggers at the Depot and Ursula & Co at Antoinette’s.
And if nothing there floats your boat as they say (…and we’re not sure how that could ever be!), then there’s also The Hot Tamales at the Alexander Arms from 9pm, and the rockier Troublesome Bucks in Douglas’ again at 9pm.
Rounding off the night, get your dancing shoes on for Gavin Povey and the Fabulous Oke-She-Moke-She-Pops in the Marquee from 10pm until late.
So pick a favorite, or try and sample as many as possible. All of the information for next Friday night can be found here and don’t forget to subscribe to the calendar to get reminders of all of the great acts and locations direct to your mobile device. Subscription can be done by clicking on the “Subscribe” button at the bottom of the “Schedule” page, the icon.
