A single week of waiting for Danny Boy

Only 1 week to 7ago now before the 19th Danny Boy Jazz & Blues Festival in Limavady is off and running.

And its not just music that can be experienced over the week-end. We also have a number of other events running for every member of the family to enjoy.

Not least of these is the annual Fun Jazz Picnic at the L.C.D.I. with food, music (by Hooker) and kiddie rides to make sure everyone has a ball.

There’s also the Marie Curie Tea Party at Drumceatt square in the town centre where you can come along and peruse some stalls, purchase something sweet and of course have a cuppa whilst enjoying the big band sounds of Bourbon Swing all in support of the most worthwhile of charities. You can also catch the Cafe Jazz Project who will be busking throughout the town centre on Saturday afternoon.

There is a special charity event out at the delightful Keady Clachan on saturday evening, a wonderful new venue at this years festival

And finally, why not skip the Sunday roast that week-end and let us do the cooking at the BBQ at Frank Owens in the afternoon where you can be fed and watered whilst listening to some jazz classics played by The Dharma Bums.
